Open Agilent .D files without ChemStation

Agilent ChemStation and OpenLab store each injection as a .D folder of binary files: .ch for single detector channels (UV at one wavelength, FID, CAD, ELSD), .uv for full diode-array spectra and .ms for mass spectra. Without the vendor software on a licensed PC they are hard to open. Nagura Lab decodes them in your browser.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. The decoding runs inside this page on your computer. Nothing is sent to a server, so confidential or unpublished data stays with you.

How do I export an Agilent chromatogram to CSV or Excel?

Drop the .D folder, tick the signals you want and press Download CSV. The file opens directly in Excel, Origin, Python or R.

Can I get a chromatogram at another wavelength from DAD data?

Yes. Open a DAD1.UV file, click the spectrum map at the time and wavelength you want, and add it as a chromatogram.

Which files are supported?

ChemStation .ch (versions 30, 130, 179, 181), .uv (31, 131 LC and OL) and .ms single-quadrupole files, including partial files from interrupted runs.

Is it accurate?

Every supported file version is tested value by value against the open-source rainbow parser. Always check results that matter against your vendor software.
